Theater - Mascogos

Mascogos is a powerful play that illuminates a buried chapter of Black and Mexican history — the descendants of Black Seminoles who escaped slavery and built new lives in northern Mexico, blending history, identity, and time travel to explore freedom, memory, and resilience.

Considering that the characters required rapid transitions between past and future, my focus was on strategic layering and reinforced construction to support quick changes.
